“Kai Zao” is a hot spring inn that opened in Zao Onsen, Yamagata Prefecture, as part of “Kai,” the hot spring inn brand operated.

Taking advantage of its location surrounded by the natural beauty of the Zao mountain range, the inn features a rooftop terrace created from the image of “Ogama,” the crater lake that serves as a symbol of Zao, as well as hot spring facilities where guests can enjoy one of Japan’s most strongly acidic sulfur springs.

We supplied three Fujitec elevators for this property. The “Ele Glance” model was selected for the elevators, featuring a design centered on stainless steel. Downlights were installed inside the cars, creating a tasteful and serene space that harmonizes with the atmosphere of the lobby.
