Fujitec posts the slogan, “Pursuing safety and reliability” as Fujitec’s Materiality, and as one of the themes of that Materiality, there is an “Safety and reliability of employees.”
Since 2022, Fujitec has been strongly addressing Health Management. Under the health management promotion scheme, all employees of Fujitec, their families and partners have combined their promoting forces as a single scheme driving force, and made the said addressing power stronger and stronger. As a result of the above addressing of the said theme, Fujitec has been awarded the KENKO Investment for Health Outstanding Organization 2025*1 making its third consecutive year of certification.
Following the above-said background, Fujitec has now started a new system, relating to ‘Support for Balancing Treatment and Work’ which is posted by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare of Japan.
This new system helps employees who are eager to work and have ability to work but have disease. The system is made to ensure that these employees do not miss treatment opportunities due to work, or their work is not interrupted due to required treatment. At Fujitec, we strongly support their continuous work, enabling them to receive proper treatment.
To establish this system, multiple discussions were held by the Health Management Promotion Subcommittee (for child-raising, Women’s Health, Diversity) as well as the Personnel Department.
The system allows employees to use treatment support leaves, the leaves for certain injuries and diseases (up to 36 months), short-time work scheme for employees with injury or disease, etc.
Fujitec’s Treatment and Work Balance Supporting System
Concerning the utilization of this system, the responsible employees in the Personnel Department and Health Management Office, who have taken the Basic Training Program for Coordinator of the Promotion of Health and Employment Support*2, are structuring necessary frameworks to consult with and support employees with deep consideration of their work-life balance.
We, Fujitec, aim to establish the workplace environment under which any employees can implement their diversities safely and equally by supporting them in both physical and mental aspects, so that they, their families, and their partners can thrive and enjoy peaceful and vivid lives.
