Fujitec Indonesia Renews Fastest Elevators ～Delivery of 19 elevators for Wisma 46, a high-rise office building in Jakarta～Shiga, Japan – Fujitec Co., Ltd. delivered 19 renewed elevators through its Group Company P.T Fujitec Indonesia to Wisma 46, a 48-story office building in central Jakarta. Elevators delivered include 6 elevators that operate at 360 meters per minute, the fastest speed available at Fujitec Indonesia.
Fujitec renewed our elevators installed in 1996 at Wisma 46 to maintain safety and enhance functionality. These elevators are the first at Fujitec Indonesia to introduce the EZSHUTTLE control system, which eases traffic from long elevator wait times. The EZSHUTTLE system assigns elevator cars to passengers automatically according to their destination floors, improving operation efficiency.
In the 1960s, Fujitec was the first in the Japanese elevator and escalator industry to expand overseas. The high-rise and large-scale projects delivered by the Company in the 1980s and 1990s are now up for modernization. Fujitec works to accumulate expertise in elevator and escalator modernization to establish the Company track record in each region and developing specialized human resources. Wisma 46 is an office building featuring functions to support business needs, including a convention hall, meeting rooms, and virtual offices. The building also offers various banking services, delivery services, a clinic and restaurants.
