Located in the city of Calgary in Western Canada, BMO Centre at Stampede Park is the largest convention center in that area. There are about thirty (30) convention spaces including a multi-purpose hall, an exhibit space, and others that are equipped with the latest modern and sophisticated functions. These spaces are utilized for various events such as exhibitions, business conferences, etc.
Stampede Park on these premises is well known as the park where the world’s largest cowboy festival is held. Among the other famous facilities, there are an ice hockey arena and a stadium where live events are organized. Owing to the active utilization of these fascinating facilities, the premises of BMO Centre at Stampede Park are always filled with the active and vivid lives of many people and known as a representatively largest event area of Calgary.
In these premises, Fujitec has installed a total of fourteen units (14) including six (6) elevators and eight (8) escalators. Concerning the feature of the convention spaces that a large number of visitors intensively use the escalators during a certain short period, the escalators have a “Heavy Load Support” specification. Their structure is stronger than that of standard escalators in terms of load bearing.
