Located at the Jingumae intersection where Omotesando and Meiji Dori meet, Tokyu Plaza Harajuku "Harakado" is a place for creating and experiencing Harajuku culture, serving as a source of inspiration for a diverse range of people. The site has seventy-five (75) stores across nine (9) floors, including a public bathhouse, which is rare in a commercial facility, as well as unique retail and service shops and restaurants.
Fujitec installed six (6) elevators and sixteen (16) escalators into the facility. The escalators use "Slim Fit" technology, which maintains the same step width but reduces floor space. The elevators also feature security controls that can change the floors where the elevators stop depending on the time of day, allowing for the operation according to the business hours of each floor.
