Rupa Renaissance is a 180-square-feet complex building located at Navi Mumbai in India. In its large land property, there are prominent IT corporations, high-class apartments, and etc. Fujitec installed forty (40) elevators in this large property.

For the specifications of the installed elevators, EZ-SHUTTLE, which is a destination floor registration system, has been adopted in order to raise the elevator operation efficiency by assigning most appropriate elevators in response to passengers’ registrations of destination floors at elevator lobbies.

When a passenger has registered a destination floor on the Destination Floor Registration Unit (DFRU), the DFRU indicates the number or name of the assigned elevator. The passenger rides on the elevator according to the DFRU’s indication and will be no longer required to do any more device operations.

As the EZ-Shuttle assigns elevators to passengers by systemically and effectively considering the proper aggregations of the passengers who go to the same floor and toward the same direction, the crowded state of the elevators that occur during the morning rush hours and other similar high traffic-demand periods can be reduced.
