This office building attracts much attention from people as Morinaga's philosophy of "Wellness Company" is realized by creating a body and mind refreshing area in the building and a walking track on the roof of the building to emphasize the importance of maintaining employees' health under the company's concept that this building is the "Kakuhan" base. Three Chinese character phrases are applied to the word "Kakuhan".

These three Chinese characters mean, respectively, 1. the mixing of the power of persons and that of the company's organizations, 2. the growth of the seeds of values created by the said mixing, and 3. the development and spread of their growth.

Fujitec has installed six (6) elevators in this office building. For the specifications of the installed elevators, EZ-SHUTTLE, which is a destination floor registration system, was adopted in order to increase the efficiency of elevator operation by assigning the most appropriate elevators in response to passengers’ destination floor registrations at elevator lobbies.

When a passenger waves a card key over the security gate, the security gate indicates the name of the assigned elevator. The passenger rides on the elevator according to the security gate’s indication and will be no longer required to do any more device operations.

Since the EZ-Shuttle assigns elevators to passengers by systemically and effectively considering the proper aggregations of the passengers going to the same floor and toward the same direction, the crowded state of the elevators that occur during the morning rush hour and other similar high-traffic periods can be reduced.

The mascot of Morinaga & Co., Ltd., “Kyoro-chan,” which is drawn on the elevator sign fixtures on the lobbies, creates an amusing atmosphere in the building.
