The Takashimaya Osaka Store stands at the gateway to Minami, one of the two busiest shopping areas in Osaka. Combining the 11-story main building with a new building with nine floors above ground, the store has a floor area of 78,000 m2, one of the largest in Japan, and 14 elevators and 24 escalators. The two observation models in the new building have a fully glass-paneled interior, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable.
