GINZA PLACE

GINZA PLACE is a posh shopping complex standing on the corner of Ginza's main intersection in Tokyo. This building was designed under the concept of making "GINZA PLACE," the intersection where Japanese and foreign cultures meet; thereby promoting Japanese culture and cross cultural exchange.
This building is composed of 12 floors above ground and two underground. In this futuristic looking building, 15 Fujitec elevators and escalators were installed. The elevators are equipped with front and rear doors to facilitate the smooth and rapid movement of people at each floor. Direct accessways from the subway to elevator and escalator halls in the 1st basement floor give people easy access to the building.
White panels used on both exterior walls and elevator and escalator halls enforce the unified futuristic motif.
