The Kyushu Shinkansen Line runs over 289 km from Hakata to Kagoshima-Chuo Station. Shin-Omuta and Chikugo-Funagoya Stations each have two Fujitec elevators and six Fujitec escalators. Fully glass-paneled elevators provide access to the platforms at both stations, creating a stylish ambience. Through train service over both the Kyushu and Sanyo Shinkansen Lines is also available, covering the distance of some 900 km between Shin-Osaka and Kagoshima-Chuo.
