Yokohama Shinko Goudou Chousha was built with the concept that this joint municipal building connects the events of the long history, various people, and many lively atmospheres of Shinko.
Located near red-brick warehouses in the Minato Mirai 21 District, it is an open facility where the public people can enjoy the building’s lobbies, restaurants, and public service offices.
This open facility adopted energy-saving methods and received an A rating from CASBEE※ Yokohama. In addition to these methods, it adopted quake-absorbing structure, installed emergency power generation equipment, and took tsunami disaster prevention measures. Thanks to these adoptions, the ability of the municipal government to continue providing public services at the time of a disaster is enhanced.
In this open-facility building, Fujitec has installed eight (8) elevators. “Air Tap” buttons (touchless buttons) are installed at the landings and inside the cars to provide visitors with a comfortable and safe ride. The full-scale glass fabric is adopted for the car ceilings. They are bright and fresh fixtures in the cars.
