OSAKA UMEDA TWIN TOWERS SOUTH is a very prestigious building just above the Hanshin Electric Railway's Osaka-umeda station. This building is a large-scale complex with thirty-eight (38) floors and three (3) basements, which is located at a northern point of Midosuji, one of Osaka’s main streets.

There are three zones in this building. One is a shopping zone occupied by the head department store of Hanshin Department Store, Ltd. The second zone is occupied by functional offices. And, the third zone is the conference rooms equipped with a state-of-the-art facility, "Umeda South Hall".
In this three-zone building, there are seventeen (17) Fujitec elevators and thirteen (13) Fujitec escalators.The six (6) elevators of the said ones are shuttle elevators. These shuttle elevators can accommodate eighty (80) passengers, which is the largest capacity in the Kansai area of Japan. These elevators are also equipped with touchless buttons named "Air Tap" and an air purifier "Plasmacluster?” to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
