JR Yokohama Tower is a 132-meter high-rise complex building with direct access to the Yokohama station of East Japan Railway（JR-EAST). The lower floors in this building are occupied by commercial facilities including movie theaters; the higher floors are occupied by offices. This building is well known as the landmark which leads people to the west gate of the Yokohama Station.

In this building, there are nine (9) units of Fujitec elevators and twenty-four (24) units of Fujitec escalators.

Regarding the elevators, their interior is designed under the concept of Simplicity in order for it to harmonize with the atmosphere created by the interior design of the commercial facilities and the offices.

Concerning the escalators, the skirt guards of the escalators inside the building have LED lighting which lights the footsteps of users; the escalators installed on the spectacular rooftop is of all-weather type.
