2026.03.25 Fujitec Recognized as “2026 Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health”

Fujitec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture; President and CEO: Masayoshi Harada) has been recognized as “2026 Outstanding Organizations of KENKO Investment for Health*,” a designation jointly selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Nippon Kenko Kaigi. This marks the fourth consecutive year of certification for the company since 2023.

Our mission is to provide “safety and reliability” to all people, including our users, through our elevators and escalators, which serve as essential social infrastructure. To fulfill this mission, we aim to create a workplace where our employees—who support our products and services—are healthy in both mind and body and can play an active role with vitality. This year, based on our Declaration on Health, every employee understood the importance of maintaining their own health and participated in company-wide activities, which led to this consecutive certification.

As specific initiatives, we have strengthened our response to health issues unique to women, holding "breast awareness" training and seminars on menopause symptoms. As a result of promoting these awareness activities, we achieved concrete results, such as a 13.9% year-on-year increase in the screening rate for gynecological exams (breast and cervical cancer). Additionally, we conducted training on male childcare leave and nursing care for managers to build a work environment where everyone can balance work and family life and practice diverse work styles. Regarding health promotion, we continue to provide individual guidance by registered dietitians, activate communication through walking apps, and conduct daily morning radio exercises for all employees.

Moving forward, based on our health and productivity management promotion system, we will further strengthen physical and mental support so that all Fujitec employees—including those at overseas locations—as well as their families and partners, can work and live healthily and vibrantly.
