Fujitec’s activity that was initiated in Oct. 2024 to meet the diversification of values among Fujitec’s employees and to raise the motivation for their work: “UX: Uniform Transformation [Uniform Revolution by the Employees for the Employees],” has received a ‘GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2025’ (sponsored by a public interest incorporated foundation, Japan Design Promotion Organization).

With the concept of Gradation Diversity, the newly released uniform is gender-free and has many line-ups that enable various wear combinations in order for the respective employees to capitalize their uniqueness.

The designs of the previous conventional uniform had been divided and differed based on vocations and genders. The new uniform is common to all types of vocations and genders. Even among the uniforms to be worn irrespective of vocations and genders, the individual characters are projected and respected.

Until the completion of this new uniform, more than six hundred (600) employees irrespective of vocation types and genders were interviewed. Based on the voices collected from such interviews, the new uniform has been completed. Keeping the consistency of essential design elements, the uniform is applicable to and very fit in with the environment of offices, production, installation, and maintenance sites. In all working locations, this uniform has enough usability and durability and provides Fujitec Employees with safety and comfortability.

We, Fujitec, are promoting six (6) themes of Materiality under the sustainability policy that the implementation of our management philosophy leads to the harmonious coexistence of society and nature and to the realization of sustainable society.

The new uniform, which has been awarded ‘GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2025’ this time, contributes to the promotion of Materiality such as “Pursuing safety and reliability” and “Encourage diverse human resources.”

Through the release of this new uniform, Fujitec will move forward with addressing “Encourage diverse human resources” from various points of view as well as creating the workplaces where all employees can work actively and vividly with their deep satisfaction of work and where each of them can conduct work under the “safe and reliable” environment.

As written above, Fujitec won the double “GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2025” this year. (One award for Fujitec’s uniform change and one award for the Ele Glance’ products)

Evaluation: Reviewing a conventional and stereotypical way of thinking about the work uniform as well as considering lots of employees’ voices for the conventional uniform, this new unform has been created. It is very meaningful. The uniform design that has no influence from the conventional idea of dividing uniforms based on types of vocations and genders represents a high respect to diversity and brings all of employees the feeling of the unity of the corporations. With functionality and comfortability, the new uniform design is gender-free and suitable even for pregnant women. The new uniform possesses lots of new creativeness and innovative elements that allow all employees to work under a situation where they can feel safety and comfortability.

Also, it is a remarkable point that the uniform can be recycled in a chemical way and generated as new materials after the end of its life. This is one of the important considerations about sustainability. It is very meaningful as an effort to embody Fujitec’s posture for the establishment of Fujitec’s brand through each employee’s pride.
