The Day of World Blood Donation Day: June 14　Fujitec is conducting a blood donation campaign as one of its local contribution activities.
Fujitec Headquarters, Big Wing, has been conducting a blood donation campaign for the past 15 years or more. Most of the blood collected is donated to the Shiga Prefectural Red Cross Blood Center and used for people in chronic need of blood. About 90 employees donated blood in the campaigns held in May and December 2023.
In addition, Fujitec Escalator's R&D and production base, Big Step, has been conducting a blood donation campaign for more than 20 years, with about 20 employees donating blood in each year. The blood collected from Fujitec employees was donated to the Toyooka Local Medical Branch of the Hyogo Prefectural Red Cross Blood Center as a blood donation cooperation.
Such blood donation campaigns are also conducted at Fujitec's overseas companies in Taiwan, China (Shanghai), Hong Kong, India, etc., in order for Fujitec to contribute to the respective local areas.
