Fujitec Uruguay S.A., a group company of Fujitec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture; President and CEO: Yuji Ichimura), celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2026.
Fujitec Uruguay began in October 1996 (Japanese calendar: Oct. Heisei 8) when it established its base in a single-family home in Punta del Este, one of South America’s premier resort destinations.
Since then, the company has expanded its operations centered on the capital, Montevideo, and—in collaboration with Fujitec Argentina S.A.—has been supporting transportation infrastructure in urban areas across Uruguay and throughout South America.
