The Eruboshi Certification is granted by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare based on the Act on Promotion of Women’s Participation and Advancement in the Workplace. Companies that have formulated and submitted an action plan and meet specific standards in their initiatives are eligible for this certification.
There are five evaluation criteria for the certification, which include recruitment, continuous employment, working hours and work styles, the ratio of women in management positions, and diverse career paths. A company is awarded one of three certification levels based on the number of criteria it fulfills. Fujitec met three of these standards—continuous employment, working hours and work styles, and diverse career paths—resulting in this Level 2 designation.
Fujitec has identified “Encourage diverse human resources” as one of its materiality issues, with “Foster a corporate culture that recognizes diverse values” as a major theme. Moving forward, the company remains committed to creating an environment where the opinions of all employees are respected regardless of gender, nationality, age, or disability. By fostering a workplace where every individual can work autonomously, we continue to embody its brand vision: “Moving freely. Elevating lives.”
