Fujitec Pacific, Inc. (Location: Guam), a group company of Fujitec Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, Japan; President and CEO Masayoshi Harada), celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025. Since its establishment in December 1985, Fujitec Pacific has expanded its business across Guam and the Mariana Islands, supporting the vertical transportation infrastructure of these world-renowned resort destinations.

■ Challenges in a Resort Destination and the “Fujitec Whirlwind”
At the time of our establishment, Guam’s elevator market was booming due to the thriving tourism industry, but market share was already dominated by other manufacturers, making entry difficult for newcomers. However, seizing the opportunity presented by the hotel construction rush in the late 1980s, we boldly expanded our sales activities. The turning point came with the installation of our elevators at the Pacific Star Hotel, completed in 1987. This success led to high acclaim for our quality and maintenance capabilities locally, creating a “Fujitec Whirlwind” across the island.
Subsequently, our products were adopted by a succession of Guam’s premier hotels, including Hotel Nikko Guam, Lotte Hotel Guam (formerly Hotel Okura Guam), and The Westin Resort Guam. This proved that “Fujitec is Strong” not only in modern cities but also in international tourist destinations.

■ Delivering “Safety and Reliability” to Customers Worldwide
Today, Fujitec Pacific operates across a wide area of the Mariana Islands, including Guam and Saipan. In resort destinations visited by tourists from all over the world, we remain committed to our mission of providing safe and secure vertical transportation, a mission that has remained unchanged since our founding.
As we mark this significant milestone of our 40th anniversary,
