The Human Resources Development Institute established and opened by Fujitec India has been authorized as a “Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing” by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan.

"Fujitec JIM", the human resources development institute established by Fujitec India Pvt. Ltd. (Headquarters: Kanchipuram of a satellite nodal city of Chennai City in the state of Tamil Nadu, President: Mr. Shakir Ahmed), one of the group companies of Fujitec Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Hikone City, Shiga Prefecture, President: Mr. Masayoshi Harada), has been authorized as "Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing" by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan.

Under the philosophical system of ""Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing", a human resources development institute built by a Japanese company that is planning to enter the Indian market is authorized and supported based on "The Program to Promote the Transfer of Technology for Manufacturing". In such an institute, the learning curriculum for the acquirement of the thinking methods and the technology required to conduct Japanese-style manufacturing is implemented.

"Fujitec JIM", launched by Fujitec this time in November 2023, has the purpose of creating candidates to become leaders and employing such candidates in the field of elevator industry. The trainees will learn the special skills required for the manufacture, installation and maintenance of elevators, which are essential for the urbanization of cities in India.

The trainees participate in the training programs consisting of seven (7) learning stages and acquire the knowledge of elevator manufacturing, installation, maintenance and quality control as well as undergo safety training programs in the factories. In the current curriculum, the practical training on elevator installation and maintenance at various locations in each region is also adopted. It is expected that the trainees under the current curriculum will complete their training programs and assume their work roles as regular employees of Fujitec India.
